My Story

A bit about me, my background and why I started How2Montessori

Originally from Paris, I moved to the UK 25 years ago. I trained and qualified as a Montessori educator in 2006 in London, and have been working with children and parents ever since, both working in nurseries, as well as my own private business. I worked for 7 years at a highly respected Montessori nursery in West London, before starting my own business in 2013, providing private French classes to groups of children aged 1 – 6 years, using Montessori methods throughout.

My time in school and private tutoring, has helped me develop a real passion for Montessori and early years development. Witnessing how effortlessly children could learn through concrete hands-on activities and positive discipline, helped me understand that our role was simply to support children's effortless love of learning by providing the right set up, tools, resources and communication. This simply made me want to share it with parents.

"Play is the work of the child..."

After welcoming my daughter Alexandra in June 2020, I started my Montessori journey with her as soon as she arrived and have been able to watch and help her develop, every step of the way since.

The opportunity I’ve had to create a Montessori environment at our home, made me want to share my passion with other parents who are interested in Montessori and help them do the same. Hence How2Montessori was born!

I have been doing private consultations and workshops for the last 4 years, but have spent the last year developing the online Members Platform, which is now live and available. I wanted to create a simple information resource hub, that is inexpensive and accessible to all. A place where I can share all my tips and ideas, as well as answer questions you may have, with our constantly updated FAQs section.
